The Leesburg Police Department participates in the Mid-Florida Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team, which is comprised of members from Leesburg, Mount Dora, Groveland, Eustis and Clermont Police Departments and is classified as a Tier 2 team per NTOA standards.
